FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
I. ABOUT THE PROGRAM
1. What is APYE?
Asia Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE) is a two-week exchange program that aims to provide an experiential platform for young people to learn and drive the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - a set of universal goals that outline the urgent environmental, political, and economic challenges facing our world.
Throughout the program, delegates will have practical experience from the engagement with local communities and work in international teams to develop a social business proposal for Vietnamese communities. (Bổ sung)
2. What can I expect in APYE?
APYE is grounded in a belief that by providing young people with an experiential learning platform to learn the direct impact of social and environmental challenges on local communities, they will be empowered to curate social ideas that drive the realization of SDGs.
Joining APYE Vietnam 2020, our delegates will have the opportunity to stay with a local community in rural Vietnam, understand the challenges facing the locals, and work in an international team to come up with a social business idea that addresses these problems.
In APYE, we celebrate diversity and believe that such consideration for cultural inclusion is key to the program’s success. We welcome qualified delegates who are passionate about social innovation and entrepreneurship from different parts of the world. Since 2016, we have inspired more than 1,900 young people from 48+ countries to engage in driving SDG agendas. As such, we furnish our delegates with an international working environment and support system in place to assist you with the ideation and cultural understanding processes.
